Sharon Skinner – Sales & Marketing Director
My name is Sharon Skinner, and I’m thrilled to reconnect with this wonderful community after almost three years. As a proud mom of three amazing boys, as well as a devoted dog (Bandit) and cat (Rogue) mom, family means everything to me. In my free time, I’m passionate about fitness, volunteering, teaching yoga and serving my community in any way I can.
My journey back here stems from a deep desire to live with purpose and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I’ve realized that my true calling lies in serving the senior population. My previous experience at Charter Senior Living of Northpark Place left an indelible mark on my heart and soul that I couldn’t ignore.
Returning to the Charter Senior Living mission of Enhancing the Human Spirit fills me with joy. I believe that every senior deserves to enjoy a rich and fulfilling life surrounded by caring and compassionate people. My goal is to help seniors find their next chapter, where they can thrive socially, emotionally and physically while providing families with peace of mind knowing their loved ones are well cared for.
I’m dedicated to ensuring every senior feels valued, special and unique. My wish is for everyone to find a place they can truly call home, where they’re surrounded by genuinely caring people, have their needs met, and create cherished memories that bring them happiness and peace.
I’m excited to use my experience and talents to reconnect with this community and make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Together, let’s embrace all that life has to offer at every stage of our journey.
Danica Forch – Health and Wellness Director
Born and raised in Sioux City, IA, Danica embarked on a journey of service and care that began in the halls of Lawton-Bronson High School, where she was actively involved as a first responder with the Lawton Volunteer Fire Department.
After graduating from Iowa State University with a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice, Danica dedicated her time early in her career to supporting troubled youth, initially working with teenage boys before relocating to Arizona with a focus on teenage girls. Returning to Sioux City in late 2010, Danica pursued a new path but this time in nursing, earning her RN degree in 2013. She has since channeled her passion into caring for the elderly, a field close to her heart due to personal experience with Alzheimer’s disease in her own family. This personal connection fuels an unrelenting commitment to providing compassionate support to both patients and their families.
Known for her spunky and playful personality, Danica is never shy to brighten a room with her ever-changing, vibrant hair and infectious energy. Whether it’s through singing, animated character, or performing silly voices, she truly finds joy in making people smile.
